Principal's Message

Dear Volusia Pines Families,

 

Greetings and Welcome to the Volusia Pines Website! We are the home of the PANTHERS! I am elated to continue serving as the proud principal of this great school. Volusia Pines is an extraordinary school with a dedicated school community, students, parents, faculty and staff. Our common goals are to build positive character and provide an enriching, quality education which leads to increased student achievement. We create a safe, secure learning environment and hold high expectations for all of our students. All members of our TEAM work collaboratively to ensure all Students Reach Their Highest Potential. I count it a blessing to have the opportunity to serve as the principal of this outstanding school!

We have a beautiful, unique school with a koi-pond, purple martin sanctuary, school garden, and an outdoor science classroom. Additionally, we offer a variety of after school enrichment clubs. Thanks to the loyalty and the outstanding participation of our parents, business partners and community volunteers, we are the recipients of the Five Star School Award, the Golden School Award, and numerous PTA Awards. Together we will continue to develop life-long learners by providing rigorous instruction aligned with Florida Standards and the Instructional Shifts in order to increase academic achievement.

I am extremely excited as we kick-off a great school year, always ​remember "together we can"!
